Products & software
What are digital products?
Our products are downloadable files — Excel workbooks and Google Sheets templates — rather than physical items. Nothing is posted to you. After purchase you receive access to the files online.
Do you sell Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets or any software licence?
No. We only sell template files — spreadsheets you open in software you already have. We don’t sell, resell or include Microsoft Excel, Microsoft 365, Google Workspace or any other software, licence, product key or subscription. To use our files you need your own copy of Excel or a free Google account.
What software do I need?
You need Microsoft Excel (desktop) or a free Google account to use Google Sheets. Each product page lists the exact compatibility for that tool. We don’t sell software licences — you use your own copy of Excel or Google Sheets.
Are the templates compatible with Excel?
Tools marked “Excel” are built and tested in Microsoft Excel for desktop. Some features may behave differently in Excel for the web, Excel for mobile, Apple Numbers or LibreOffice, so we recommend the desktop version.
Are they compatible with Google Sheets?
Tools marked “Google Sheets” include a Google Sheets version. You open the link we provide, choose “Make a copy”, and the file is saved privately to your own Google Drive.
Can I customise the tools?
Yes. You can rename categories, add rows, change labels and adjust colours. Core calculation areas are clearly marked so you can see what to edit and what to leave alone. Changes to formulas are at your own discretion.
Do the tools replace an accountant or financial adviser?
No. Our tools help you organise and understand your own numbers. They don’t provide accounting, tax, legal or investment advice, and they aren’t a substitute for accounting software or a qualified professional where you need one.
Buying & delivery
How will I receive my purchase?
We send your files by email within 24 hours of your payment being confirmed — usually much sooner. You’ll receive the Excel file and, where included, a Google Sheets link that creates your own private copy. Check your spam folder if you don’t see it, or contact us.
Which currency will I be charged in?
All prices are charged in GBP. You can choose to see an approximate price in another currency using the selector at the top of the page, but this is a guide only — your bank or card provider sets the final exchange rate and may add a fee.
Do I receive updates?
If we release an improved or corrected version of a product you’ve bought, we’ll make it available to you at no extra cost and let you know by email. Updates don’t include new products or custom changes.
Can I get a refund?
If a file is faulty, doesn’t open, or isn’t as described, contact us within 14 days and we’ll fix it, replace it or refund you. Because digital files can be kept once downloaded, we don’t normally offer refunds for change of mind after you’ve accessed the download. Your statutory consumer rights are not affected. Licence & support
Can I use the tools for my business?
Yes. Each purchase includes a licence to use the tool within your own business, including for your own clients’ data if you’re an agency, freelancer or bookkeeper.
Can I share the files with other people?
You can share the files with people inside your own business who work with you. You may not resell, redistribute, publish or give away the files or modified versions of them. See our Terms & Conditions for the full licence.
